Frequently asked questions

Is it confidential?

The coach will work within the professional ethics and guidelines as described by the EMCC/ICF Code of Ethics. Copies of the ethical guidelines will be attached to the agreement sent via e-mail. All information about the coach/client relationship will remain strictly confidential except in very rare circumstances. Exceptions to confidentiality of course relate to circumstances such as risk or a criminal offence. Otherwise, all information is confidential.

How long does coaching take?

The duration is agreed upon together. A typical engagement consists of one hour per week over three weeks, tailored to your specific needs. Longer-term coaching is also available for ongoing development or to address evolving topics.

Is coaching therapy?

Coaching is not therapy and does not aim to treat psychological conditions. The coachee agrees to disclose details of any past or present psychological or psychiatric treatment. Should such matters become salient during the coaching relationship, the coach may recommend referral to an appropriate and qualified specialist.

What does it cost?

Pricing is determined jointly, based on the scope and duration defined in our agreement.
